Research: Time resolved mid infrared (IR) spectroscopy of RNA folding and dynamics on time scales ranging from femtoseconds (10-15s) to microseconds (10-6s); hyperspectral autofluorescence imaging of tumor cells and tissues (this work involves the development of an interferometer specifically designed for imaging spectroscopy).
